Autograph letter signed, dated : Weimar Jan. 20 1844, to an unidentified baron, 1844 Jan. 20.

Introducing Clara Schumann, a delightful person, "parfaitement germanique," who plays works by Chopin, Henselt, Mendelssohn, and by her husband [Robert Schumann]--their works will seem like "filles belles encore sous ses doigts"--, expressing the hope that she may also be introduced to Mme Kirief and two other named but unidentified women, etc.; with two autograph letters signed, from Miss Pughe-Jones and Sybil M. Curtis, dated [London], 15 and 17 March 1930, to Alfred Cortot, giving him the Liszt letter.
